Shiatsu is a natural healing therapy based on touch. It follows the same principles as  acupuncture, though no needles are used.

Shiatsu literally means “finger pressure.” This deep, relaxing therapy gently  helps to re-establish the natural flow of energy and awakens the body’s potential for healing itself.

By treating the whole body, shiatsu brings areas of stagnation back into harmony. This results in restful sleep, feelings of well-being, freedom of movement, and  better circulation and organ function.

Shiatsu helps to treat and prevent many health issues, including stress, headaches and migraines, digestive problems, injuries, and chronic conditions.

Treatments are done either in the traditional style on a floor mat, or on a massage table. No oils are used, and you are asked to wear loose, comfortable clothing.
